That would be me complaining about the cutesy rounded corners on the new posting page (and my webmail site and every other fricking site in the universe these days).
TMI: Apparently having that time of the month cramps in your upper thighs is weird? I've always been like that--my mom was like 'huh'? when I mentioned it a couple months ago after like over thirty years...
I have four thousand things to do today and all I want to do is curl up on the couch with a heating pad. *sigh*
I did get my Amazon wishlist updated, unloaded all the bags of presents and holiday stuff from last week, and plugged in the tree. At first the top and very bottom weren't lighting. I found the unhooked cord for the top but had to sit on the floor to try to find the bottom. About one half wasn't lit. I found one broken bulb, fluffed all the branches and couldn't find a loose plug, so shoved myself to my feet and jiggled the ten plugs plugged together and the top went out and the bottom lit. *snort* All working now.
Last KU football game starts in a few minutes. Yay?
KU basketball...*sigh* I mean, we win, but with the talent and fantastic plays we have, we shouldn't let Oregon State come within three near the end of the game and tie earlier in the second half. At least the Big 12 is perceived as "weak" this year. Unless this team comes together soon we are still going to struggle against certain teams and Ohio State is going to demolish us at their place.
Very sad news--a young Chief's linebacker killed his girlfriend and then killed himself in front of Arrowhead staff this morning.
I'm wearing a pair of flannel pj pants that were way too tight last winter. :)
I managed to trash my Dean/Cas holiday fic assignment. It's due Monday--luckily they sent it to me again very quickly.
Apparently god doesn't want me to iron. I had seen an ironing pad that you can use on a table top or the bed in a magazine and went to the website and could never get past the main page to add it to my wish list. I have my mom's old ironing board--thing weighs a ton and is like 50 years old--and haven't used it in like a decade.
No one has loaded Big Bang Theory from the other night yet. :(
I need to figure out what quick breads to make for gifts considering I need to pass some out in one week. I'm making banana bread today but that's all I can make before I go to the store as I have no more butter.
My 'r' key is sticking. This is annoying. Luckily it didn't happen last weekend when I was writing 15000 words.
More people need to fill out my Holiday Card Poll because I have like 100 cards and like six people signed up. *sigh* I know not everyone has abandoned LJ! I'll send overseas, too.
