[Cosplay] Celestia Ludgenberg Progress Update 3
Hellooo, I've been working on cosplay again and I've managed to do some of the "smaller" things. Kinda just snazzing up the accessories or... creating them out of nothing.
So what all have I done for my Celeste cosplay now?
The shirt now has fancy lacy trim added. Was a simple job... all I had to do was sew it on. ;)
The head piece. Not quite as easy. I started with the little white bows. Go them all ready. Then I created an oval pattern with normal paper. I cut 2 of a white fabric I had, pinned down the lace and one side's tie strap, and sewed it up. I bought some 'no-sew' hem tape and used that to attach the bows to it. It's cute, but I'd never wear this if it wasn't for cosplay. I wish I had my wig already to show what it looks like with teh hair.... ;3
Last but definitely not least: the Tie. Eh gads, it too me twice as long to do the tie as it did to create and snaz up the previous two. I wanted it to match perfectly... I'll create a whole note post to show how I got from shabby to snazzy on it...

OH! ...and I've had my earrings done for a while. They're not exactly like hers but I really liked some charms I found so I used them. :3 (No photo of them, friend).

That officially had left me with only two pieces remaining. The tights (which are pretty much going to be black trouser socks with lace trim added to them); and the jacket.
...Now I would've likly already had the jacket done but I had a little issue with patterns being crap and never lining up like they should...so I've sworn to always do custom pattern based on actual patterns for now on. 'Cause I wasted a lot of time on the jacket only to have to take scissors to it.
Anyway, I hope to have it done by tomorrow so I can put away all of my sewing stuff until the next costume comes along. I still have plenty I want to make but...ya know...time.
