a rainy sat-at-home Saturday
The trees are bare, the skies are grey and rainy, and the robins and other smaller birds are flitting back and forth and hopping along the walkway and flower beds. That alone makes me smile. I found a Maxwell House International tin of Orange Cafe at Food Bank yesterday and with a bit of sugar to cut the coffee-bitter, it is very good. I want grocery shopping last week and discovered the there were breakfast pot pies back in Walmart's freezer. YAY!! I haven't had my sausage and gravy pie with sausage and buttermilk biscuit sandwiches for a long time, since the Walmart on El Camino closed and I had to switch to North Highlands. There were only three pies, but I'm hoping for more when I have to go back for milk. Now THAT makes me smile.
