Sleep? Sleep? Where?!
This semester is kicking my ass. I'm dead tired but I'd like to vent before i fall victim to narcolepsy once again... We've been 2 people short at work for about a month now. And poor little Janet has been in turbo drive because there is no consistency with where the work winds up and what happens to it. I knew there was a huge stack of memorials for me to do (a multiple day process even when there's just a small stack), and I couldn't find it. I asked EVERYONE. jackie heard Maureen, Lisa and I looking for it and asking people, and she didn't say anything. Not until I went around asking everyone again, point blank if they'd seen them did she tell me she left them on linda's desk (not one of the places memorials are ever supposed to be). and it wasted a good 30 minutes of my time. then an additional 45 to make copies of all the work. I'm serious, whoever they hire for the GAck Clerk will want to DIE. We're talking calling Kevorkian and all. it's that bad. add to that the complete LACK OF SENSE from the Wonder Twins... ugh.
i've worked as much as I can while still attending all classes, and I'm banking fairly well, but my REM cycles do suffer. I hope this places me well for another merit-based raise this year. I got one last year and then the standard Foundation-wide raise for everyone. 2 raises in a month was nice. And they had to petition for my raise and budget for it and all. If they dont do that this year... sheesh. For the youngest in the department and a part timer and a student, i get a phenominal amount of work done. That's enough horn tooting for now. I rock. Now you know that.
School, I have never stayed up this late writing papers before. It's insane. Maybe except last spring when i was taking 18 credit hours and talked to Jeremy for hours every night... lol. crazy times. He moved back to Florida tonight... 7 hours away is much better than 24!!!!! =) woot! Rolling Sontes for life!
So yes, I rock, hardcore. And i'm the shoe-in for President of the PHHP College Council, but I'll divulge more on that after elections... just cross them fingers. Not that anyone would challenge me. I'm a force of nature. And many people know that now. Taking the world by storm, that's me. =)
