proud momma moment
i have to brag a minute.
after over a year of battling the public school system, and fighting for my child who missed the birthday cut-off by 21 days, hanna's school district finally decided that her scores, her abilities, her maturity, her ability to learn new things so quickly (and oh, did i mention her iq that rates in the highly gifted range?) warrants advancing her a grade.
so, like her momma, she will be skipping second grade, going directly into 3rd grade, when school starts back up in august.
in order to avoid all the stuff we've had to deal with with hanna, aimee will be going to preschool at a preschool/kindergarten. if she is ready (which i bellieve she will be), she will start kindergarten a year early.
anyway, enough of my bragging and boasting. i've been under so much stress and pressure with all of this lately, that i just felt real relief when i finally received the news today.
