My little sister and I went to Six Flags over Texas yesterday.  We rode the Superman, Batman, and Mr. Freeze one after the other first.  Then we both agreed to slow it down a little, lol!  It was the best time to go there, because there were hardly any lines at all the entire day.  Their food, I had a piece of pizza and a soda, was expensive ( Read more... )

My nephew Jacob was a horror today.  He bawled and fussed at everything.  Then my sister came over with her little girl Ruby and the two kids went at it.  They both missed their naps, refusing to go to sleep, so they were extra cranky.

The elevators are both broken... I had to climb 13 flights of stairs!!  That was exhausting.  I fear I may never fully recover.

Has anyone seen the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou?" it has some good music.  I thought it was supposed to be some bad show, but i've seen it and its rather good.  I think I must have confused it with "The Lady Killers" ( Read more... )

People are over reacting to this swine flu stuff.  They cancelled the May Fest in my hometown near Dallas, Tx... I mean come on!  I've been looking forward to that festival for months!!

Am setting up my schedule for next semester, my last one for U of ol' H.  Oh hey, the weekend is finally here!  I can finally sleep!!

There is some cool scientific experiments being done on top of the north dorm tower (18 floors up).  They are measuring Houston ozone emissions throughout the day, carbon monoxide, particle growth related to heat, ( Read more... )

   Wow,  had a cool experience this morning going to St. Mary's.  Due to the incence the fire alarm went off for about 5 minutes before they could shut it off.  The place is very nice and bigger than I thought it would be.

For Easter Sunday, I found a Catholic Church (St. Mary's) near my university.  Ussually I go to Church on campus (The Newman center), but for Easter I want something more.  Its very close to campus too!  If I like it I think I'll be going there from now on each Sunday.
