I attended my first Hypericon this weekend, which was also hosting the 46th DeepSouthCon, which is a roaming con that can be located anywhere in the south east. We went there, both to promote JordanCon, to network with other convention organizers and also because this is our idea of a romantic weekend getaway. Because we sold out our room block this week. Apparently I vastly underestimated how many rooms we'd need.

If you missed out, don't feel too lonely. I haven't booked mine yet. I, uh, haven't booked the convention guests rooms yet. Obviously, we will be correcting this ASAP.

We have registered more people for JordanCon today than we usually do in a week. I'm wondering if this is the start of a good week, or if no one else will register for the next three weeks.
