Poor little puppy...
My poor little puppy... as per vet instructions, I gave him a pill this morning so he wouldn't be so anxious during his appointment. His nails really needed to be cut, but he flips out when anyone tries to do so, and the last time I brought him in, he was brought right back, his nails uncut, and the pill was prescribed.
The problem is, the pill took longer to take effect than I was told. My instructions were to give him the pill an hour before the appointment, and I did just that. But it was an extra thirty minutes before any sign of the pill being effective began to show, and it wasn't until we were back at home that he started to get really sleepy. Now, more than five hours after he took the pill, he's conked out on the couch, where he rested using my lap as a pillow for an hour or so.
