あ・ら・し、あ・ら・し、FOR DREAM~
So yesterday, I went to an Arashi concert without a ticket!
Chriss, Japanese friend Mai and I queued for hours for merchandise in the blazing sun.
We ate shaved ice and chatted, attempting not to melt under the sun.
My friend Masa (Mai's older brother) mailed me "It's hot today, please don't get heatstroke! My mum's worried for you." Aww.
Mai moved on to the actual arena whilst Chriss and I bought the majority of stuff on offer at the merchandise stalls and waited for the concert begin.
We skipped down from the merchandise area, singing along to "Troublemaker" and "Happiness".

We walked around the outside till we found an area we were actually allowed to stand in, with the most excited group of fans to enjoy it with from the outside.
There were a LOT of people standing outside!
And don't let anyone tell you differently,
it really is possible to have an amazing time without even entering the arena.
Everyone singing along, waving penlights and uchiwas in time, cheering for the members, enjoying the fireworks and fire displays (「Monster」 was an amazing pre-encore finale song).
By the time 「感謝カンゲキ雨嵐」 came along, there were tears in most of the eyes around us. And my own, NGL. The girls to the right of us (who had been super-excited and keeping the crowd tension-max the whole time) were sobbing to the extent they had to peel off their false eyelashes, aww.

11am! Chriss and I waiting on the platform of our local station.

Looking slightly worse-for-wear after a whole day out in the sun, but not caring one bit!
We got home in time to catch Shiyagare on the TV! O hai Ohmiya.
Merchandise! I think between us, we managed to buy up one of just about everything...
From left, clockwise: bags x 2, posters x2, Ohno & Nino jumbo uchiwas, Sho, Aiba and a group mini uchiwas, Sho jumbo uchiwa, above them are pin badges (limited to kokuritsu), my phone with a strap attatched, the "pamphlet", which was basically a book, an adorable towel that goes over your head like a hood, a t-shirt, and a penlight.
I feel a bit bad I didn't get a Jun uchiwa. Sorry Hime! I will buy one today in Harajuku I think, as well as another Neener one.
The posters are Sho and a group one, neither are mine, because I already have more Arashi posters than I know what to do with, so I restrained myself! The towel and t-shirt aren't mine either, they're for Mai who had to rush off before she got to merchandise (in order to get into the arena in time). I want to find t-shirts today in Harajuku, because whilst the "Scene" one is cute, I'd probably end up wearing it as pyjamas. (Really expensive pyjamas.) I really want a yellow Around Asia one... Wonder if there'll be one in any of the little shops in Harajuku. Horribly expensive, no doubt.
Chriss sleeping alongside Ohmiya SK! Haha.
Well then! I'd better be off to get ready for another action-packed day. Hope everyone's well.
