Still home, I am frustrated because the post office can’t find my package. I gave her the tracking number, and she told me she’s afraid they put it in someone else’s box. Last weekend I watched A Legend or Was It? on Filmstruck instead of the Super Bowl. I'm sure I didn't miss out on anything, but then, I'm not a sports gal. It was a dark film about how quickly terror, blame, chaos, and fear of other can spread during war time. After our trip to Asheville, I started reading Look Homeward, Angel by Thomas Wolfe. I'd had it in the queue at the library to read before we went. So since I've been away, we visited the Lemp Mansion! Nothing creepy happened. The scariest thing was that a grasshopper was in the room and jumped on me in bed. Also, they have a ghost cam we didn't know about until the next day, and one of us might have wandered the hotel in our underwears because we didn't know about said ghost cam was live ( Read more... )
