"That Gum You Like is Going to Come Back in Style"

So since I've been away, we visited the Lemp Mansion! Nothing creepy happened. The scariest thing was that a grasshopper was in the room and jumped on me in bed. Also, they have a ghost cam we didn't know about until the next day, and one of us might have wandered the hotel in our underwears because we didn't know about said ghost cam was live streaming to the World Wide Webz until the next day. What can I tell you? We had the place to ourselves that night, and the fridge was in the hallway. If you logged on, you would've seen the ghostly apparition of middle aged folk in their drawers. See photos of the historic home below with captions under them.

Kelly and I stayed in The Lavender Suite

This was our gorgeous bathroom!

The moment we realized there was a live streaming ghost cam, and Kelly started doing screenshots on his phone.

We had a great report at the doctor in St. Louis, and then last weekend, we took a surprise trip to Hot Springs! Another benefit of not having kids is leaving last minute and just jumping at an opportunity. So last week a friend of mine on Facebook shared there would be a comic con called Spa-Con (Spa City=Hot Springs) where you could have the opportunity to sit in on panels and take photos with Barb from Stranger Things (Shannon Purser) and Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) AND OMG AUDREY HORNE (Sherilyn Fenn) from Twin Peaks! This was our first comic con, and it was so much fun. We'll definitely go back! See some bits of our trip below.

Kelly standing in front of our first stop, a local coffee shop that had turned itself into Harry Potter's The Leaky Cauldron for two days! He's drinking a butter beer!

Twin Peaks fanatic here!

First chance to meet Sherilyn Fenn! I was starstruck, and she was as charming as she is on television and kind and funny!

Kelly loved the free play arcade!

Gimme all the junk foodz! That's a macaroni and cheese donut on that plate, and it was amazing!

Laura Palmer (Sheryl Lee) and Audrey Horne (Sherilyn Fenn) photo again! Swoon!

Kelly, Barb (Shannon Purser), and I! She was so kind and down to earth.
In other (hair) news, I'm going back to blonde tomorrow morning. I shaved my head and got almost all of the red out. I was over the red quickly, and I missed the blonde. I blame all of those who encouraged the red. Just joking it was one of my usual whims, and then I desperately wanted to be blonde again! Typical. You don't know what you got 'til it's gone, right? We're also spending the night in Memphis this tomorrow night to see Ryan Adams at The Orpheum! I'm so excited! Neither one of us has ever seen him before live. We're going to do a little shopping maybe (thrifting) and as always eating some good food so that should be fun. We'll be staying for the first time at the Madison Hotel, and it looks lovely. Plus, it's close enough to the venue we can walk.

I'll report back next week, guys. Cross my heart and kiss my elbow!
