What: The Eevee egg from Helia and Dawn has hatched!
Where: The X-Mansion
When: 9/9, during the day
Warnings: Cuteness. Seriously, this log is probably going to rot all of your teeth.
It had been over a week since Dawn had given Charles one of Helia's eggs, and to be entirely honest? He found it mildly confusing and yet mildly intriguing. He wasn't about to ask Helia how the breeding and the genetics of the Pokemon worked, but was still touched that Helia would honor him with one of her children. Helia was a frequent enough visitor to the Xavier Mansion. The purple cat-like animal would come and go as she pleased, and Charles found it fascinating that he could actually have a telepathic conversation with her - given that most animals were too stupid for him to actually talk to.
Though he did feel completely ridiculous by having this egg sitting around the mansion. He felt like a mother hen.
Imagine his surprise when he entered the kitchen, sitting in his wheelchair, in the afternoon to find a brown and white furry animal sitting on the counter, eating off a plate of half-eaten food that someone hadn't cleaned up. Charles sat there, completely stunned, before pushing his wheelchair further into the room.
"If you would get off the counter, that would be marvelous." He said, reaching up and picking up the Eevee into his arms. It cooed. Was it supposed to coo? "And I am not entirely sure you should be eating that sort of food. At least not yet. How did you even get up on the bloody counter?"
It cooed again at him and he sighed, reaching up and pressing his fingers to his temple. It was time to announce to the others they had a new resident in the mansion, he supposed.
Sean, Alex. Raven. I need you all to come down to the kitchen, if you're not too busy at the moment.
