When Sean hears Charles in his mind, he can't help but think that, maybe, something is going on. He sounded stressed.

So Sean bounds down the stairs rather loudly. To him, the kitchen usually meant food, he never spent much time in there otherwise. Food usually meant eating, and hey, Sean was pretty hungry. Practically sliding into the kitchen, it takes a minute for him to figure out what's going on. Whatever it is, it's right under his nose.

"What?" Then he finally notices it: the adorable little animal that sat so comfortably in Charles' arms. Sean lights up, sauntering closer and peering down at it.

"What're we gonna name it?" He reaches out to gently pat Eevee's head, almost surprised by how soft it is.

Considering Raven was only a few doors away when her brother's very familiar voice appeared in her mind, summoning her to the kitchen, the young female mutant appeared at the entrance to the room almost immediately after Sean. Only a few steps behind, in fact.

And just like the younger man, her expression immediately transformed into a beaming, excited grin.

"It finally hatched?" Yes, it was more than a little strange to see a mammal (she assumed it was a mammal, at least) hatch from an egg like this, but after all she's seen in this city, Raven doesn't even care. Besides, it was so goddamn cute, how could she even care?

He wasn't entirely sure it was a mammal, given it hatched from an egg. Still, he wasn't going to point that out. The small creature cooed again, ears perking up at Sean and Raven and leaning his head into Sean's hand, rubbing against it. Charles gave a faint smile before looking at the two of them.

"I believe the answer to that is 'yes,' Raven." Charles replied with a raised eyebrow. "As for a name, I am not entirely sure. I thought it would be proper for us all to pitch in a name."

Even if the egg had been given to him, Charles felt the small Eevee was something that belonged to all of them in the mansion. While the mansion was under his name, it truly belonged to all of them, so why shouldn't the creature that was contently rubbing his head against Sean's hand?

Oh, that's adorable. Sean honestly can't stop himself, running a hand along one of the Eevee's ears (how are they even that large, anyway?) before letting out a small noise that could possible be an 'aww' or a squeak, either one. This is probably the most babying anyone will ever get out of Sean, ever.

"What about Oreo?" He glances to Charles, then to Raven, rather pleadingly. He also doesn't see the problem in this name, either.
