Went to see Toy Story 3 yesterday. In Japanese. Yes.
Saw it with Tatsuya <3
We weren't planning to see it - we weren't planning to do anything, really - but my shoes caused some MAJOR injuries to my feets and we decided walking around town for 5 more hours probably wasn't the best idea. So we purchased some tickets and set about our date.
Great movie. Very touching - and MUCH darker than the first two. Actually comparing it to the first would be (almost) like day and night - it was that much darker, that much more...mature?
Speaking of Day and Night, the opening short was, again, amazing. And hilarious.
And then Tatsuya gave me a letter. <3 It says, at the bottom of an entire page of neatly scrawled Japanese, "Don't forget me - because I'm DEFINITELY coming to America to see you!!"
Ah. ~content sigh~
