Well, here's a twist I didn't really think life would turn.

Me and Tatsuya decided to "date." I put it in quotations because, well... I'm leaving in like three days. T-T Also because we've been "dating" for like three weeks now, even if it was as friends. It's nice, it feels right, it also feels awkward as can be ^_^; Like, I asked him to hold my hand as we walked to my bus stop -- which resulted in him hovering his out-stretched hand over mine, and then clamping down. XD Not tightly, but not the shy entwining what-have-you I imagined.

Also hilariously awkward is that I never knew he could speak English. Actually, let's put this in perspective - he can "speak" it but not really at any appreciable level. He's never tried. However he can write and read and understand it to a fair degree because he did not stop studying after graduating highschool like I thought but has been studying the whole time - IE something like 8 years (same as me for Japanese, actually. Hmm.) Which brings us to this AWESOME, EPIC, EPICALLY AWESOME text message that I got upon returning home:

"Yes, my sweatheart!"

I...I'm not gonna lie, I doubled over laughing. My ribs hurt from how hard I was laughing. The kid NEVER talks to me in English, and then I get that.

I really hope that it works out between us, though realistically I won't hold my breath. And yet...I really hope it works out between us. Despite the distance. I imagine some sort of awesome pre-war America - the foreigner wife with the hard-working guy, and the hilarity that ensues between them. Alternatively Brian and Christmas Eve from Avenue Q.

It's really strange, this feeling - I won't go so far as to say it's love, but I wasn't lying in the last update - I've never felt this before. The feeling of nervousness when I don't get a response from him for hours, the feeling of wanting to tell him everything...

In other news, I saw Inception (with Tatsuya, lawl.) That movie is one HELL of a mindfuck, and man is it wonderful. A little more characterization would've been welcome, but in terms of pure thought it's just amazing. They're not kidding when they say it's Nolan's magnum opus. I saw The Black Knight and thought, "Well, it's all right...not really living up to the hype, though :/" But seeing Inception was like... "Wow. ...WOW. O_o" Even knowing how a lot of the scenes were filmed there were still some that had me scratching my head.

Also Juno as a normal person? Ace.
