A Cloudy Christmas
Friday: Went to dinner with Patti at MC2 in the Kendall Marriott. Christmas Day, so all was quiet. Hope that all who celebrated had a happy holiday.
Saturday: Intense workout, then went to see the new Sherlock Holmes movie (awesome; especially like how they depicted Holmes's combat style). Coming out of the theater, I ran into Ames, so we had dinner at Boston Burger Co.
Sunday: Went climbing, hauled myself up a few courses:
(Unnamed Green) (5.7, climbed)
Babies 'r' Not Us (5.8, climbed)
Persimmons and Tamales (5.7, passed on first try)
You Really Should Practice Technique on Your Warmups (5.7+, climbed)
In the evening, watched Ink again with Maya, who seems to be in the midst of quite an abundance of art projects this weekend.
Got quite a bit of reading done this weekend, too. Finished The Sparrow (about a Jesuit mission to an alien planet that goes horribly wrong). A well-written book.
