I was thinking about my grad school application and I'm going to start to need to work on the next stage of the plan soon. Assuming I get in, there is the reality that maxed out federal loans will not cover the cost of school and the cost of living (plus flight to get there).

I'm anxiously waiting for my school financial aid to get in so I can buy or rent my books for next term. The info for my Samurai in Film class went up though and I tracked down four of the movies. Three of them are available on streaming Netflix, one I'm getting on dvd from Netflix, and one I'm downloading one (I could not find it any other way. ( Read more... )

My paper is in!

Now I can go home, drink, and sleep go to my Latin final with under 2 hours of prep time between now and then and a brain that can remember 0% of what we've learned in the last few weeks... crap.

Let me look on the bright side... my paper is in!

I'm working on school stuff so I'll make this post fast. I built a bed sheet fort last night though and felt like I needed to post pictures. Yes, this is the sort of thing I do when I should be working...

The good news is that apparently a lot of people going in for their papers didn't get the drafts done. Knowing this, I'm going to try to catch up. I've decided that I need to do a minimum of maybe 3 pages per day but that I have no need to do all-nighters. Consistent will work better for me than the crazy I tried last night ( Read more... )
