I did a NaNo event today
I shall make this quick because I have much work to do but I wanted to post about my day. I went to the NaNoWriMo All-State Write In. Basically, a bunch of the groups from the state got together in one location and had fun. We were actually in an aquarium this year which made it extra fun.
High peaks
1. I did finish a tiny bit of school work at the write-in
2. I did actually write a little in my long forgotten novel of the month. (I'm at around 2400 words now)
3. I bought fudge
4. Some people squeed at Plushie Ten.. a lot.
5. I had fun.
6. I got to pet stuff at the aquarium and saw the sea otters being fed
7. The ride to the aquarium involved a long drive along the coast, which was very pretty.
8. The nice lady at the ticket counter asked me if I needed to pay for an adult's admission for myself (ok, that one was just amusing. I'm almost 12 years older than the Youth admission boundary.... I will officially be in 10 days)
