Is there a word for this feeling?

The feeling you get when someone becomes an integral part of your life, who brings warmth when they're with you, and then leaves and then comes back and you think that this time they'd stay forever and they just up and leave again?

Just a thought.

As a reader, my tastes are inclined towards the sci-fi and fantasy genre. I have a few novels by murakami and gabriel garcia marquez ( but one could argue that murakami's geared towards magic realism ) as well as some other books recommended to me, but for the most part, I only read sci fi and fantasy. I've not really had time to find myself, nor read the books I would've liked to read. Gym, job interviews and online games are the things that keep me busy lately.
