Haha, yeah. My parents offered to buy me a new mattress last year, but I didn't really see the point. Seems like a waste of money when I'm in college for 9 months of the year and I'll be graduating next year.
Thanks. After I requested "the cheapest shipping method" I realized that it can take up to 3 months. D:
I'm so used to my earless cats that I have a hard time petting cats with ears.
It left Japan on May 17. How it can take over a month to travel from Japan to the US is beyond me. I mean, even if they put the package on a boat, couldn't it cross the Pacific in a few weeks?
oh really? what kind of mail did you have it sent then?
IDK if its the same for international but for domestic its not really that it takes longer (cuz really a point A to point B is gonna be about the same amount of time) its just the package loses priority boarding status.
Meaning it hitches a ride if there is room but otherwise it will sit in a warehouse forever. Smaller/lighter stuff tends to get through before bigger/heavier things.
AT LEAST FROM MY EXPERIENCE, and this is also generally domestic as i'm not 100% sure how international works.
It did take like a month+ for one vidya game to come from hong kong to me before though. So uh, yea there's that too.
I asked for "the cheapest way" assuming it would be SAL. (I didn't specifically request SAL because I heard that EMS is cheaper once in a while.) It turns out that they sent it Surface Mail. Apparently that's cheapest for large packages. And the shipping was still over $25.
I'll be mad if that package gets lost since it had around $200 worth of grails in it. :K

I had a hard time coming up with 8, honestly. The rest of the people on my f-list either don't talk to me, don't update frequently, or hate memes.

I really wish I'd paid for SAL or EMS now. ;__;
