This is turning out to be a very bad summer. Some days I pretend that everything's okay and other days I remember that no, it really isn't, and most of it is my own fault. One of these days my sanity is going to break, but I can't decide if seeing a counselor would make it better or make it worse. I'm ashamed of what I have done and ashamed of what I haven't done. When did I start making such a mess of my life?

I've heard other people say that their Pokemon collections helped them deal with depression. At the time I thought they were crazy, but I think I can somewhat understand now. Looking at my Bulbasaur plush does make me feel a bit better. Anyway~

I believe someone on my f-list wanted pictures of the Tomy Bulbasaur plush? Even if you didn't, I'm posting pictures anyway.

First is the best Bulbasaur plush EVER!

His front right leg is a bit broken but I'll just say that he's walking...

I can't decide which one I like more. 1/1 Saur is adorable, but he's not very soft. He's also one of the few non-derpy Play by Play plush, and the first Pokemon item I saved for. I bought him when I was 10. For the record, I'm not the one who scratched up his eyes.

Bulbasaur used Tackle! This picture was a mistake.

I was trying to do this:

but little Saur fell off.

He is also the perfect size for an armrest. I'm not too fond of figmas, as far as quality for price goes, but they are fun to play with. I kind of wish I had another so I could take photos of them doing amusing things...

Bulbasaur-mobile. What could be better than riding on a Bulbasaur?

Oh, never mind.

This post would not be complete without the best Bulbasaur figure ever, a custom from porcupine_paws. I know I posted photos before. I'm posting them again, okay?!

Also known as handstand Bulbasaur. I wish my camera didn't suck so much.

I think I love custom sculptures even more than I love custom plush. They're highly detailed, but still small enough to be displayed on a shelf, and they're much cheaper than plush. And while I might be able to learn how to make my own derpy plush, I'll never be good at working with clay.

One of these days I need to take a photo of my entire collection, or at least all the Bulbasaurs. I've been putting it off because I'm lazy and because I'm not sure if anyone (besides me) would care.

And now for... wait, what is that?

I think it's a cat.

I am amazed. I rarely see them get within six inches of each other without fighting.

I think I may have discovered why Callie gets attacked so often. It's not a good idea to use your niece as a leg rest...

In other news, I'm seriously starting to consider buying a PS3. If I cut back a bit on spending, I should be able to afford one in 1-2 months. But I'm not sure how I feel about spending $300 on something that isn't backwards compatible. :/
