Was taking Romo for our walk around 8 this evening, and decided to walk through some paths in the woods around the park. Bad idea, apparently. This morning I had a nightmare where all the computers in the house got infected with some kind of malware that completely replaced the graphical user interface with their own ugly, useless, fake-anti-virus-scanner interface that you could actually SEE downloading stuff in the background. Romo is doing much better in the yard now. He's not afraid to be out in it and he does play, but still not as comfortable with it as he used to be. I think the boundary flags spook him a bit: he goes near them occasionally but keeps his head slung low, like he's afraid he'll wake them up ( Read more... )

Romo discovered a couple of weeks ago that he can bolt down our 600ft driveway and play with the neighbor's dog whenever he wants. Problem is, he crosses the street to do that. Romo had his first day of basic obedience training yesterday morning. He's doing pretty well, especially considering how hyper he gets around new people and especially new dogs.
