Romo is doing much better in the yard now. He's not afraid to be out in it and he does play, but still not as comfortable with it as he used to be. I think the boundary flags spook him a bit: he goes near them occasionally but keeps his head slung low, like he's afraid he'll wake them up ( Read more... )

Romo discovered a couple of weeks ago that he can bolt down our 600ft driveway and play with the neighbor's dog whenever he wants. Problem is, he crosses the street to do that. Romo had his first day of basic obedience training yesterday morning. He's doing pretty well, especially considering how hyper he gets around new people and especially new dogs. Right now we're just working on getting him used to the leash/choke chain, instilling in him the utmost respect for the "Sit!" command, and making sure he starts paying ( Read more... )

So today we visited a cramped laundry room with a goodly number of squeaky puppies in it.
