You know how health coverage always seems adequate in work PPOs and such? I mean hell, I never thought I'd exceed the amt they will cover for ambulances per year... but apparently I have. Wow... work is doing something cool. Each fall we have a block party (basically dinner and games and poker and kids sections of bounce houses and the like) for all employees and their families. However, this year it has been decided to skip it, and instead to donate the equivalent amount to Katrina relief groups. It's a perfect idea. I'm pleased.

I find it sad that I'm one of the top five fundraisers for the marathon... I was just doing it to see how it all worked.
