Baja AGAIN
Fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. So I went and met the guy looking for a teammate for the Baja Travesia. And he is damn cool, and I totally want to race with him. And he is also looking for a steady/semi-steady team. And to go hard, but have fun. And sponsors as being worked on. So basically I'd have to front the $933 entry, but all the gear we need we could probably borrow from Karen and Paul (at least that which we don't have), and then over the next few months he'd give me part of whatever comes in to cover the race. Problem is that part of nothing would be nothing, but asking for $250 from a number of big companies and who knows what will happen(worst case I get nothing back and leave stuff on credit cards longer...)! He believes it will work, and I like to believe it (it's not that much for most companies). And it does mean this race next year would be free. And Fuck. Now I really want to do it and just am unsure again... do I take the risk and just go for it??
