Help wanted: Story stuck in mid-stream.

I've got a stalled AU in au_with_me Clark Kent: For the Defense I haven't posted a new part since March 17! I know that things have been a bit crazy since this spring with both work and RL, but this story needs a serious kick in the pants. Anyone got any ideas? Any at all?

The basic premise of the story:

Attorney Clark Kent is drawn back into the life of his former mentor, Lex Luthor, when Lex asks Clark to defend socialite Lana Lang when she is charged with murdering Lex's ex-lover, Jason Teague's mother, Genevieve Teague. Clark finds this murder case may be related to his own mysterious past.

The story is up to Part 19 (actually, there is no part 13!) , has over 10,000 words and I need help getting the story back on track.

I need to get Lana tried. Convicted or exonerated.

I've still got to get Lex and Clark together and in bed.

I've got to reveal the secrets of Clark's past that he doesn't even know. Decide how much of his Kryptonian legacy is going to be a part of his daily life

I've got to decide whether or not Clark decides to fight crime or continue to defend the innocent.

And then I've got to decide what to do with Lex and Clark's firms.

All you betas and grammar nazis and assorted critics out there? Feel free to make comments, too. Because the current stuff has NOT been beta'd AT ALL, except for tiny bits that might have been pointed out in previous comments.

I'm screening comments on this post cause REALLY I'm hoping for some really good plot bunnies and story fixes from you guys and I want to keep them all to myself.

As for the other two WIPs? Hopefully they won't get in such terrible straits.
