Biggest WTF: Tory Burch met with Serena and told her “You came highly recommended by Anna Wintour”
Yeah right, I don’t think so! That actually made me snort, there is name dropping and there is just stupidity, the only way Anna Wintour would have heard of and recommend Serena is…well, no I can’t think of a way.
Nate interacting with Dan makes me SO happy, when he isn’t spending all his time macking on girls, he is not too bad, I liked him in his small scene. Not telling Dan, who Olivia was, is one of the smartest things he’s ever done.
I like how everybody knows who Serena is now, continuity ftw.
I couldn’t help but be charmed by the Dan/Olivia, what can I do, I adore Notting Hill
Love the Marchesa dress Olivia wore at the premiere, made sense with Georgina Chapman guest starring, however they could have picked a slightly less overexposed dress. I swear I’ve seen that one a number of times on the red carpet, or perhaps that’s the point.
And King Arthur with Vampires would be a hit, I loled.
Totally obvious the photographer had been paid by Chuck, but it was such a cute Chuck Bass gesture. And I love me a Chuck Bass gesture, the whole thing with Jenny and telling Blair he loves her. I LOVE THEM.
Also, yay for the return of Jenny and Eric, am glad Jenny will be ruling the school, she totally deserves it.
Heroes was okay, not interested in Tracey, but we got a Peter/Nathan moment. Finally. And the Hiro parts were heartbreaking. When the hand broke through the grave I expected Buffy, but Sylar was a suitable replacement. Though I doubt it is actually him. I must say, it is getting confusing, Nathan is dead and Sylar is in Parkman’s mind, so the consciousness in Sylar’s body with Nathan’s memories is what, a new entity created by Parkman? I don’t like it, I don’t like what looks like the end of Nathan, oh Petrellicest, you got me through some terrible episodes, is it really the end?
I was thinking about my rather crazy recent fic reading habits/fandom habits. And was hoping to find out I am not alone! Do your reading/writing habits coincide? Are you faithful to one fandom at one time? Or do you have one major one and a bunch of small ones? Lots all at once?
I found myself either with no interest in any apart from sporadic specific reading cravings (for example, yesterday I read Harry/Draco Time Travel fics, the other week I read all the Daria/Jane I could find) or if I am actually actively participating in one fandom, I tend to want to read and/or write in a bunch of others at the same time, even though I never talk about them.
So, before the Pinto obsession, I did read STXI for a while, then was engulfed by the Chris/Zach, read everything ever and thought about it all the time. However even during the depth of obsession I wasn’t faithful to them, it coincided with my returning love for Harry/Draco, of which I read a bunch of old fics, as well as a number of tentative ventures into the AI fandom, where I read a lot of long and fantastic Kris/Adam.
Since the return of Merlin, I have written two fics for it, but read almost none.
I have written one Glee fic (and read a few, though not actively shipping anyone), one OC fic, one Harry Potter fic I haven’t posted yet and all the recent things have been either Gen, Het or Femslash, not normal for me at all.
I feel quite fannish about Gossip Girl, but don’t read any fics, apart from the occasional Blake/Leighton.
I have love for a number of obscure/smallish slash pairing, and in the last few months, as well as the aforementioned Daria have searched and found fics for Black Books, Son of a Witch, Brideshead, My Beautiful Launderette, 10 Things I Hate About You, as well as some very odd Harry Potter pairings. If anyone is interested, my rare_slash tag on delicious has links to my favourite finds.
I still love Chris/Zach, and my ‘to read’ list is very long, but I just don’t feel the same intensity any more. However, I started writing a fic today!
This is completely unrelated, but I want this bag so badly, however there is some complex shipping issue applying if you have less that 40 feedbacks, which I do. Sad times.
