4. Basia Bulat - Oh, My Darling

Basia Bulat (roughly pronounced Ba-sha Bu-la, she's Polish) is the lead of a wonderful little folk group that sounds like the piano, viola, guitar and her are falling melodically down a flight of stairs. Ragtime mixed with warm string sounds and her wonderful wonderful voice. I lovelovelove this music, but it's "depressing female vocalist" music, so I suppose that's a given.
