Three's Company
Things have changed quite drastically in the past week. With my place going on the market soon, I've moved in with my brother and his other roommate, also a guy. I'm a girl living under the same roof as two bachelors.
This is...weird. If not even slightly awkward. I know how to deal with my brother with years of practice under my belt, but the other roommate... I have enough of a hard time in social situations as it is. I'm having to learn a whole new set of boundaries and to be quite honest, I'm almost wanting to have a list of rules printed out for me. My introverted self would very much prefer that.
That being said, I don't see this as a bad situation, just a new one to which I must adjust for a time. I don't expect to be here but for a few months as I will fully confess that engagement and marriage are now in the picture. Until then, however, I must do what I can, including living with my brother until my house sells.
So far as that goes, I already have someone interested and the place isn't even on the market yet! Prayers and good thoughts will be highly appreciated there, please.
All in all, this new stage in my life will probably be more cannon fodder to my sitcom of a life, LOL. So I have that much to be amused by.
