A few days ago, the steps to ban possession and sales of shark fins started to move forward in Sacramento, California. Hawaii has already passed laws against shark fin possession (restaurants do have a grace period to get rid of their current stocks).

In the end, I went with two dive operators.
My dentist gave me a Saturday off so I booked a Gordo Banks trip with Manta. I woke up really early for the trip - (especially difficult after a sunset jungle booze cruise - 200 pesos, all you can drink gahhhh).
