In the end, I went with two dive operators.
My dentist gave me a Saturday off so I booked a Gordo Banks trip with Manta. I woke up really early for the trip - (especially difficult after a sunset jungle booze cruise - 200 pesos, all you can drink gahhhh). Within the space of a single month this year, I flew into Texas twice from London. The first time was near the end of May for the Houston FetishBall and the 2nd time was in June. First I flew into Dallas and bounced over to San Antonio for a couple of days and then headed back to Dallas for the rest of my visit.

After the week at sea, I spent the next few days hanging out with F and S. I also got to meet her friend S who lived in the area.
( F & S used to live in San Diego).
After the journey back into the US, we all met up at the Sheraton near the airport. Most of the hotels around were full because that same weekend ComicCon was happening.

Awoke this morning with internet service on my phone. Got a quick update on the MotoGP Germany results and headed up to breakfast.
Catalina Island was to our left and we cruised past Avalon and stopped by Long Point which ended up being our first dive site of the day.

Woke up with the waves hitting the porthole and eventually stopped near the Coronado Islands.

At North Coronado island, we all had breakfast and then geared up for the first dives of the trip and day after the meeting. The water temp was a little warmer than expected.
