I’ve been so busy with work that I’ve been neglecting to post updates. Now that the long weekend is here I can finally spare some time.  It’s been a very productive quarter, lots of manga related work on the go. Here are the details:

These past two months have been the busiest out of my year so far. Lots of events and projects going on at work and at home. Fortunately they have also brought me a great deal of progress towards my goals as some of my big projects for the year were finally completed.

Light On

I spent most of this month studying lighting. I started with books that covered general lighting styles and theory (such as the Hogarth book), and then went on to find articles and more detailed information about the physics of light and how lighting is used in film and 3D animation.
