Positive shock - China, REALLY!!?

I received a request today from a fan of BBC Sherlock series that they would like to translate my one and only Sherlock fanfic to Chinese... I gave the green light. But... really, CHINA? How can I suddenly (possibly) have a Chinese fan base?!!
And I already received the files in Chinese (two versions of it are written, you know) but my computer cannot open the Chinese fonts... But still. China. *mind boggles*
