Roleplaying and LARP... and Sketchavember drabble!
Been home all day. Well, almost. I had to run a few errands, but there you go. And I've been roleplaying! :-D Wohoo! My RP-partner who has been on a month long trip has finally returned so we have picked up one off our two roleplaying games here on LJ. Feels AWESOME to pick that up again. So much fun! Re-reading what we have written, it is quite amazing to see that you can't really tell that it has been such a long jump between posts... Not to mention we have two characters we both play, and you can't really tell any difference in how we write them. Well, we kinda know our characters pretty well now. :-) That game has been going on since July 2010... That is more then a year. Geez... o.O
Was supposed to meet up with my LARP-friends to, and discuss stuff our characters have been doing between the last LARP and the next one, but alas it didn't work out. To many people that were busy with other stuff... To bad. Would have been fun with a visit today. :-) Ah well. I'll see them soon again...
Anyway, here is another Sketchavember drabble. Quite a short one, but hey... It is a drabble. And my drabble-muse just stopped me, so... :-P Enjoy, enjoy. :-)

Authors Note: Written for steinsgrrl s prompt: Gustav buys Tom a new guitar for Christmas, one he's had his eye on for some time. Happy as he is, Tom flails, because he has no idea what to get Gustav? Unbetad and written just now. Didn’t quite meet the prompt… only almost, but there you go. :-) Hope you like it still.

“Oh geezes Christ, Gustav…” Tom just breathed looking at the guitar he’d just unwrapped under the careful eyes of Gustav, who just stood by the wall with a smile on his lips…
It wasn't just any guitar either. Oh no, no, no… Gustav had really gone the extra mile this time. The guitar that Tom now carefully let his fingers slide over was a Gibson Les Paul… which would have been awesome enough… It wasn’t just that, it was a Les Paul inspired by Slash… one off the guitarists Tom admired so much… Tom had seen the golden sheen plenty times on old music videos when Slash had played his legendary guitar solos… One day, Tom hoped, one day he would be just as good as Slash was… am…
Looking up at Gustav with a honest open and genuinely happy smile on his face, Tom then picked up the guitar out of its equally luxurious case and turned it over…. Looking at it from all angles… the wood was smooth under his fingers, and his fingers found their way on its neck by instinct… “Wow, Gustav… I…” then Tom saw a scribble on the smooth wood… not very big, but looking closer he could see that it was. Slash signature. It was signed. “Holy shit…” and Tom looked up at Gustav who just gave him a grin. “Merry Christmas, Tom.”
“But… but… I have nothing for you!“ Tom exclaimed looking at Gustav, always so calm, damm him…
Moving away from the wall, Gustav walked over to Tom and took a seat next to him among the wrapping paper that littered the floor (seriously, the twins turned into kids as soon as they got gifts). Looking from the guitar to Tom, he just gave him a smile, before giving Tom a kiss. “Already did.” The comment prompting Tom to tumble Gustav over among the wrapping paper, the new guitar momentarily forgotten…
