I...just...yeah, whatever *handwaves majestically* ETA: omg, tags, why must I insist on trying to be like the cool kids?

The internet is making me distraught. One is not supposed to get distraught at pretendy funtime games and , well, fandom (which is fucking funny). I keep feeling like I need to take up a position on things, or be catty, or have Deep Meaningful Thoughts with flowcharts and meta quotes and stuff.

Okay, "Heroes" now pwns me. I only started watching for Ecclescakes but I've been sucked in by the crack. I now want an icon with "Claude" that reads "Doctor Where" with the Pertwee font. I want to swim around in the speculation and spoilers and be gleeful. I want to struggle in vain against the BroYay!

WMNF, our local NPR station, is awesome. They have a show Wednesday ngith with the guy pat Chambers which is all really old jazz and blues and rockabilly. Here are some details for the new U2 album, How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb, due out Nov. 19.

The first track, "Vertigo," is getting decent rotation on both X and 98 Rock (of all places...) and sounds like "Zoo Station" and "Elevation" got drunk one night and ended up woth a baby U2 song. Diggity.

I need a Bono icon.
