So apparently I'm being adopted.
I was out for dinner with my friends and the two of them that are a married couple (American guy and Japanese girl), the wife said that she wanted to adopt me. She'd get a lovely daughter without all the hassle of actually having a child and whatnot. Since she herself was adopted at 23 (I'm still 23 myself) this isn't a problem for her.
This clearly was a joking matter - we'd all had a few drinks - but that isn't going to stop me from calling them パパ and ママ now just to wind Joshua up.
Not that I'd mind them adopting me. For one I have no idea what that would do to my visa xD. I love my natural parents - and my family life is complicated enough with step-family, so what's the harm in having another family added on top of that?
