I was out for dinner with my friends and the two of them that are a married couple (American guy and Japanese girl), the wife said that she wanted to adopt me. She'd get a lovely daughter without all the hassle of actually having a child and whatnot. Since she herself was adopted at 23 (I'm still 23 myself) this isn't a problem for her

I got adopted by a nice couple when I was...in my early thirties I want to say. My mom and my adopted foster mom get along great, I must say, LOL!

There's the family you were born with and then there is Intentional Family. These are the people you aren't related to, but you love them like family (sometimes more than your actual family!). :-)

They are a really nice couple who aren't that much older than me to be honest. And they have completely taken me under their wing. They pretty much are my family out here, even without the adoption.
