It just takes...
...one kid telling me 「楽しかった！」 after class to make the 4 hours I spent last night doing lesson prep worth every ounce of effort I put in. I don't care that he was only in one of my three classes. That huge smile made all that card making, printing, chopping, re-making, drawing feel worthwhile. I know more of them enjoyed it, I know my little kids love it when I come to school because I over hear conversations going:
"When do you have Emma-sensei?"
"5th period. You?"
"1st."
"You're lucky!"
Elementary school is fun~
Also, no need for exercise tonight. Not with dodge ball at lunchtime and soccer after school.
