Baby Crying Decoded (as seen on Oprah)

Dec 14, 2007 12:05

I don't often watch Oprah, but previews for yesterday's show caught my attention.

A woman with extremely sensitive hearing has managed to decode the fussing sounds of babies and the specific sounds that they make when they fuss/cry for certain reasons. I watched with immense fascination as they showed clip after clip of babies crying out with the same sound.

I know I for one will be getting this woman's DVD - and I recommend it to anyone who works with babies, has a baby, or plans to have a baby one day. This could be the best investment for any parent/caregiver who's ever wished their baby could tell them why they're crying.

Edit: I just ordered her DVD here: http://www.dunstanbaby.com/
