My new favorite store is Dollar Tree. Go ahead, call me white trash. I am preparing for the Cheerleader Christmas party and I'm telling you, dropping $20 at the Dollar Tree and getting all you need for a party is a good deal. Not to mention, I got all my gift wrapping needs taken care of and a Christmas tie for work too. Nice. I'm all about good deals. I'm also all about the holidays. We put the tree up yesterday and our decor is in place. My dog likes the stockings, I'm hoping we can make it the whole month without him eating them or any other Christmas decorations.
It was a great holiday weekend. I was sick again, but I'm getting used to it, so I worked with it. Did the Thanksgiving thing, half the day with my family and half the day with Jeff's. Angie stayed the weekend with me. We went shopping Friday, my first ever day after Thanksgiving shopping experience. We made it out farely early and the deals were great. The best were the DVD deals. Stoked. We also dyed our hair and got our nails done. Girly things are simplistic yet satisfying. We went out to Fox and Hound Friday night so Ang could meet up with some dude she sees here in Indy. Not too shabby, Eric met us out and we had a good time. Saturday was the State Football finals. Chatard won. The girls were great. I just wish Chatard wasn't used to going so far each year. They don't care as much. I still think it's so exciting and cool. Nevertheless, it was fun. And sitting first row at the dome was cool for Jeff, Ang and me. The rest of the weekend was restful. Now it's back to work. I'm planning for my party this week and starting the wrapping of gifts. I'm over half way done with my Christmas shopping, which is exciting. I love Christmas gift giving. :)
I've been playing poker a lot lately too. I lost last night, but usually I come out decent. I'm tried though, stayed up too late with the boys. I'm gonna take a nap before work. Peace out kids.
