Happy VD
Golly gee, it's been months since I've updated. It's February and I'm busy busy with work and cheerleading and interviewing. Life is moderately good. The snow this week has put me back a little bit, I'm not a snow-driver and I've been inside a lot. I worked Tuesday but was the ONLY server at MG. It was oddly fun. Tonight I made it into work with Jeff and it was popping. I love holiday shifts. We had goodie bags and flowers everywhere, not too shabby. Jeff and I decided to go sans-gifts this year and it's working out well. He just shoveled me out and we're gonna eat junk food and watch a movie here in a sec. I saw Meli at the Grill tonight, doing her V-day thing with Reid. I've seen them twice in the past few months. Kind of cool. Small world.
I've really been into CSI lately...watching all Miami and Las Vegas in syndication. Jeff has a new LCD TV and the show looks awesome on it. I can't get enough Heratio!!! I've also been expanding my job horizons and interviewing with companies, though none have proved to be promising yet. I was offered a cheer coaching position with a gym, but have decided to stick with Chatard only. I suffer as a coach when I'm stretched thin. And you know I love my BC girls. They're doing an awesome dance this Friday. I can't wait!!!
Max is finally healthy, as am I. I sprained/tore my rotater cuff two weeks ago but am healed now. The painkillers were fun, hehe... I've been staying with a lady a few nights a week for cash. I used to housesit for her but now just help her out on a regular basis (she had knee replacement surgery in January). She pays well and tells amazing stories (her ex-hubby played in Superbowl 7!). It's been a growing experience. That's new I guess.
Erin and I are moving into NorthHaven in two weeks. It's a really nice apartment complex in Carmel (nicer than AMLI). It's a little more each month, but it's worth it. They have an awesome fitness center with aerobics classes and a gymnasium I can use for my cheerleaders. There are lakes and dog trails and a business center. The amenities alone make me so pumped to move. We're working on our House-wares right now, getting some cool stuff. We've decided to have girl night once a month with cooking and movies and wine and gossip. Ash, too bad you don't live close, I'd invite you over!!!
Welp, it's about movie time. Gotta get comfy on the couch. Later kidz...
