long time no see
WOW! It has been a long time since I have updated. By long, I mean over one whole month. I suppose I have been really busy and all. School got over just fine. I moved out and am still trying to move everything back in. I know, it has been like 3 weeks, but my room can only hold so much. I think it finally looks like a room now rather than just a storage unit. Right after I moved out, I did the while wisdom teeth getting cut out thing. Well..a few thoughts..it was horrible, I woke up from the surgery crying for some reason, I can't take Vicatin, ummm and yea. I still have some holes where the stitches were, and it is still slightly annoying, but I made it through with about a week of recovery. Now I get my Ivisalign. They should be in in a week or so! Yay for straight teeth again! Nick graduated four days after the teeth ordeal. I was still a bit of a mess needless to say..lol. But, he has a BA from the UofI..yay! Now off to Grad school for him. SO after all of that, there was work again. I worked at good ol' PTI for a few days, and then my current temp job fell into my lap. The owners of PTI are in Hawaii and so is there son and his family. At first I trained to more or less run a few parts of PTI along with a few others, but then the owner's son needed someone to run his Penske truck rental business, so here I sit. I work 8-9 hours a day..no breaks or any of that, but there is down time for a half hour here or there..hence the entry. I quote prices for people, check trucks in and out, and I even drive them..well not anymore..I hit a van. It was not my fault though I swear. But I refuse to drive anymore, so other people cover that for the most part. I organize papers and files, and as nerdy as it sounds, I enjoy this job. I make 10 dollars an hour, and I get gas money for driving to Champaign and back every day, so there are extra perks as well as the enjoyment of the job. Plus extra time in Urbana every now and then to see sunshine isn't so bad. :) I get this nice job for a month. I have a little over two weeks left here, and then it will be back to PTI..baaa, but now that I have this training, they may have me come back here or there. I leave for Seattle here in a few days. That will be very fun. I am quite exctied to visit. That is for sure probably my favorite place ever. Well hmmm..I think my last customer for the day is here, so I think I may be heading out! Life is grand! LOL Au revoir mon amis!
