and I am back...

So I am back at work again. Seattle trip is all over. It is rather sad actually, because it was a very good trip. I started out the trip by having to get up at 4 am to get ready and head out for the plane which we missed, because our driver misjusdged traffic to O'hare. We finally got to the airport 10, yes just ten minutes too late to check our luggage. Of course, I had too much to just carry on, so 35 minutes before out plane even left the ground we had to rebook on a later flight. The flight was straight to Portland, which was way better than having to fly to LAX in LA. We then boarded the smallest plane ever in the world and flew to Seattle. The first day was nice, but we sleeping was my main activity. Dramamine takes me out for the day, but it kept all motion sickness at bay. The second day was slightly overcast and chilly, but we visited my favorite place ever. The Snolquamie waterfall. I love that place. It is so pretty out there. The waterfall was much bigger and angrier this time of year than the previosu time I saw it in late July, so we couldn't get as close. The view was still wonderful though, and the steep hike didn't kill us..lol. I then proceeded to stop by a mountain side shopping area..lol..I couldn't help it. I got some new pink Nike running shoes and some chocolate. I showed some restraint as you can see. The day ended not long after that. The rest of the night involved watching movies and such. The nest day was again all cloudy and blah, but we returned our rental car and headed eventually to downtown Seattle. We saw some sights, and made it to downtown shopping. Again, I showed restraint and made just a few purchases. The it was off to see the ocean and the lake and a few mountains and eat a wonderfully gourmet dinner at this little off the water resteraunt. The night ended with more movies and the Sopranos..lol. The next day..hmm that was Friday I suppose. We decided to go to the aquarium. That was definitely good times. We drove around more and went to the ocean to see Seattle skyline. More good resteraunt food after that. It was definitely pretty out there, and all the resteraunts were on the waterside. Then there was a little more driving around. We headed to my uncles friends hair supply shop. Apparently my uncle has all the connections out there..lol. I got tons of wonderful high end hair crap for 75% less than it costs in salons. Good deal for me! Then we headed home for homecooked seafood. There was quite the entertainment that night, and I suppose only we know how that went. My aunt Tina and I did lose in Scene-It though! :( The next day, no one was really up for the four hour scenic drive we had planned, and well it was cloudy anyway. We sat around and enjoyed being on vacation all day. Then, it was off to TCBY for icecream. The last night there ended with one final on demand movie, and then it was up at 3 am to get ready to fly out of Seattle. The flight to San Fransisco wasn't bad at all, and then from there to O'hare was wonderful. We had a huge plane..an aisle all to ourselves..our own personal tv's...and about 7 good movies to choose from. We got back and ate some pizza on the way home. Now here I am the next day. Work again!..blah. There are a few more mini trips that have been planned out. Overall, this summer looks like it will be a good one! Au revoir for now all..I get off work in 30 minutes..yay!
