Further Monday musings
A posting on another LiveJournal sent me to check out my Severed Heads album - the song "Dead Eyes Open" was being discussed. The album I have is called "Giga Pus" and has an OCTOPUS on it! This album is 1994 so it was long before my interest in octopuses and squid was set in motion, maybe it was the genesis of the interest? The song isn't on this album so I wonder where my copy is as it was "Dead Eyes Open" that set me looking for the band many years ago.
On the same blog, there was a posting about friends not knowing what you needed from them as they usually aren't mind readers, and I, like many others, am hesitant to ask. So here goes...anyone want to come and look at my TV and DVD and see why they aren't talking to each other? Does anyone want to spend some time teaching me to do a new web page? Or at least point me to a very bog-simple program an idiot like me can learn?
I have acomplished a lot being unemployed. I did paint all the wooden magazine boxes. I have done some scanning of Ian's work. I have cleaned my gutters. I have re-arranged furniture (thats usually a sign I'm restless). I made a new version of a shirt - pity its just a little tight. I have made a few more aliens in felt.
Why is considered socially accepted (by some, others would just like the slaughter the little rat)for a child to scream at the top of its lungs but not an adult to do the same thing? It would be a sign of utter frustration in both...
Maybe I'm just full of shit and you should all ignore me!
