Eye news
Hum. Went to the optometrist today and she retested my eyes. (Finally got a letter from the Eye and Ear hospital, they don't tell you when your appointment is, just your on a waiting list and it could take months). She seemed slightly worried about the blur I have in my right eye. I have to go to a private eye clinic and pay as she wants me seem by someone next week. It 'may' be something with the retina but as she didn't have the right equipment she wants an expert to check. Apparently having strong powered glasses means there is a slightly greater risk of retina damage. She also stressed if there was any change until my appointment to go straight to the Eye and Ear hospital. Now I'm slightly worried.
Pump in the fish pond out the front seems to be having a nervous breakdown. Think it might be cactus as its warm to touch. One of the blinds out on the back of the house was destroyed in the wind strong today so it onto plan 2 now.
BUT, there was an add for library officers in the local paper yesterday and I have the details to look through very soon.
