I got my Health and Safety Level 2 certificate at Pertemps today (had First Aid one in post two or three weeks ago).

My start date for the Admin Option at Solihull College is the 10th of September.

Few, one week to go. It gets boring sometimes. Best bit this week was that activity trip on Wednesday.

Yesterday was the induction day, but only Terry was there (Emma was sick). Today I turned up to catch the minibus to be told that today is cancelled. Does this mean both Emma and Terry are "sick". Oh well day off then. I just had a haircut at my regular local barbar Deano. So am back home now. Maybe I'll later stick on Ghost Rider: The Extended Cut

Got the 11A and 94 there and the 94 and 11C home. My bruised toe was ok, until I started to go home. Managed to avoid limping on the way there (I had my sandles with magnet buckles on). My toe caused walking problems as I made my way home though ( Read more... )

It is back to square one New Deal wise (and a clean slate). This afternoon, I had to induct onto New Deal for the second time with my new advisor who gave me a tour of the Pertemps place that I already know about (although I wasn't aware that they had a toilet there). I applied back in late September for Data Processor / IT Assistant (closing date was Oct 20th I think). Later came today asking me to attend an interview on Wednesday the 15th at 11am. From about February 2005 to August 2006 I was on New Deal. From Monday 4th of Sept '06 I will no longer be on New Deal, although I will be tracked for 13 weeks from next Monday.
