I took Mannfred (my laptop) down to the apartment yesterday so I could play in photoshop if I got bored, and also check if any neighbours had open wireless networks I could steal. My harddrive is forever gone. Went to my old secondary school and had some electronics students take a look at it, they couldn't get it to work either:( Whenever you put it as a slave drive the computer can't find the master drive... It turned out to be 5 overcooked capacitors on the motherboard. No wonder he was braindead. Right now he's lying on the floor, guts everywhere.... Still deciding if I get new parts or new computer..... Whatever I do it will be a couple of weeks until he's alive again ( Read more... )

Steve was acting stupid so I shut him down and now I can't wake him up again:( I'm getting one of those black screens you see when the computer is turning on, but not one I have seen before.
