Computer troubleshooting help?

Exam is over. I did ok I think, fucket up on some stuff but that's ok, I didn't really know how to do it anyways:p Got most of it I think. Wrote 11 pages and I was the last one to leave. You should have 7 hours for math, 5 is too little...

Now I am putting everything in my computer. It's going awesome:p The CPU fan doesn't quite fit so it's currently only locked with 2 of the 4 lock thingies. The only thing on my front panel working is my power button. And when I turn the computer on it doesn't work, only the two fans are running.

My power supply fan is also running slower than a swede and making an icky sound. That could be it, but I don't see how that could keep the motherboard from doing it's business.

My cpu and motherboard are bought seperately but together. It says they are suppose to fit together, except on the CPU box it says 945 chipset only. They did not say that in the specifications when I bought it... My motherboard is 865 chipset. That is the most likely error methinks.

Hopefully my geek will wake up soon so I can ask him what he thinks. I hope I won't have to return one or both of my things:(

Bloody computers

And since Steve's currently gone I have had to entertain myself lately, which means tons of wedding sites have been browsed:p I am still just as stuck on how I want mine. It's too much work:p And the options I have in Narvik sucks! We don't even have a bridal shop! Hope I won't have to go to Trondheim to get a dress.....

wedding, math, steve, exams, computers
