That's what the invitation to the opening of the Kate Spade flagship store promised. And you know I'm a sucker for anything with polka dots.

I admit it. I was one of those people who didn't grow up with Miffy. I always thought Miffy looked like Hello Kitty. But it was sort of the other way around, no wonder Miffy's creator Dick Bruna hates Kitty.

The Miffy at the Museum exhibition is on-going at SAC. I have to admit, I'm becoming a Miffy fan.

It was hot, almost like weather back in the Philippines, last Sunday. But I had to go and "cover" the National Day and street parade festivals at Banpo Park. I went with Wendy, and met up with other friends at the park.

The cake looked yummy, but it's not my birthday cake. :P

Could I pass up a chance to watch a movie at the cool Prada Transformer?

No way. Not after Elvis M., the former NYT critic and co-curator with Inarritu, laid the guilt trip on me when I said I didn't have time to watch any of the films. I just had to watch at least one, so I chose Last Year at Marienbad, which he kept mentioning.

Went to the Prada Transformer event again last Friday. This time, it was for the Flesh, Mind & Spirit film festival, where Mexican director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu and ex-NYT critic ElvsMitchell chose the films.

I'm not really much of a club person. Not really my scene. But Lady Gaga was performing @ClubAnswer, so we couldn't really pass up the chance to see her perform!

It was kind of chaotic outside, people were waiting for the doors to open, and when it did, everyone just rushed in. Ugh. We had to wait for about an hour before Gaga came out to perform.

Just came back from the Lady Gaga presscon across town.

I guess she shocked everyone with this see-through number.

I asked her about the outfit, and she said it was by Japanese designer Dress Camp (how funny she would choose a Japanese designer), with motorcycle gloves and cool Chanel heels. But her make-up artist was Korean. :P
