My mom just sent me an email to say that the house across the street from them is for sale.

Honestly, it's a very beautiful house, but we don't exactly have permanent jobs at the moment. Also, I don't know that we could afford it...

Oh, and there's that thing that I don't think I'd want to live right across the street from my parents.

Elena drove up from Princeton yesterday morning and got into Hackensack just before 11am. My mom just forwarded an editorial which has been circulating the net and touted as appearing "in a Tampa newspaper." Apparently it did actually appear in a Georgia newspaper as one of the comments in the link above testifies, so it was a legitimately published editorial (and may have been reprinted in a Tampa newspaper). An amazing thing has happened today. My parents have agreed to have Christian come visit for a few days over winter break. As in, actually spend the night in their house.
